There longstanding market and process know-how enables them to meet and exceed their customers bespoke requirements

The Requirements of the Field Service Engineer role:

  • You will already be an experienced Field Service Engineer with ideally 2+ years of experience  installing, validating, maintaining pharmaceutical testing equipment in areas such as dissolution, sample preparation or closely related areas 
  • Experience servicing equipment such as HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LCMS, Spectroscopy or equivalent
  • Scientists/Chemists with hands on troubleshooting experience of the above types of equipment will also be considered if you are highly motivated to transition into a Field Service Engineer role
  • Experience working in a GMP environment is ideal  
  • You will be educated in either a life science/chemistry or engineering subject  
  • Must hold a Full UK driving license & valid UK Passport
  • Experience of effective verbal communication skills in a customer facing or customer service environment, with excellent telephone manner

The Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

  • Travel to customer sites to deliver routine planned maintenance and breakdown support in line with my client’s service plans
  • To refurbish and validate equipment for the refurbished instrument program in line with SOPs at my clients UK facility
  • To identify new customers or new market segments that could become long term accounts
  • To build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to allow continuation of business and win incremental business
  • Perform onsite duties including, service, validation, repair, accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Complete and submit all paperwork to the admin team
  • Build and maintains relationship with existing and new customers
  • Promote the company’s brand and range of services where applicable
  • Manage and be accountable for stock allocated to the service call
  • Provide remote support via phone and email to customers where requested
  • Maintain knowledge of the products and services

Benefits:

  • Base Salary Circa £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
  • Fully expensed company car (hire car provided during probation)
  • Tax free daily allowance
  • £10 when in the field for up to 8 hours
  • Over time can will be paid in following fiscal year (January) or this can be taken of during the year as recover days, so no impact is made on statutory holidays
  • Pension -  6% employer contribution with a minimum 3% employee contribution after 3 months continuous employment.
  • 23 days holiday rising to 25 with continual service + 8 bank holidays
  • 3 x salary – death in service after 3 months continuous employment.

The role of Computational Chemist:

  • Their multi-disciplinary team works in a highly collaborative manner with our clients - bringing together talent, creativity, and expertise to convert ideas and discoveries into new healthcare solutions
  • Each client project brings new scientific challenges, and our scientists must be versatile, and responsive to the evolving needs as each project progresses

  • As an experienced Computational Chemist, you will be involved in multiple projects drawn from a range of therapeutic areas and at different stages from initial hit identification to lead optimisation
  • You will also have an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of platform technologies within the company such as our fragment-based screening capability

The requirements of the Computational Chemist:

  • Ideally you will already be an experienced Computational Chemist (3+ year’s experience) with extensive experience of working in early-stage drug discovery environments
  • You will have experience applying a wide range of computational tools and techniques including structure based and ligand-based design and virtual screening
  • Candidates who have recently completed a PhD in Computational Chemistry (or equivalent) with experience of self-coding in Python will also be considered
  • Ideally you will have completed your Computational Chemistry PhD from one of the following Universities: University of Leeds, University of Bath, Cambridge, Oxford, UCL, Imperial College   
  • Familiar with a HY Performance Computer with a GPU
  • Knowledge of drug discovery processes; appreciation of key concepts from collaborating disciplines such as medicinal chemistry and biophysics
  • Problem-solving ability from combining personal knowledge of computational techniques with the desire to seek-out and apply novel and innovative solutions from the wider literature
  • Able to provide leadership for a team of talented scientists and work well within multi-disciplinary projects
  • Good communication skills; able to summarise and present scientific results and ideas to colleagues and external clients/collaborators
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team, be proactive, and strive to deliver high quality
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal writing

The role of Building Management Systems Manager:

The role of Internal Sales Representative:           

  • Manage the prospecting portion of the customer sales process for the France territory, make outreach via phone and e-mail

  • Qualify in-bound marketing qualified leads; identify researchers, key influencers and purchasing leads through research and prospecting; increase contacts of existing opportunities, qualified sales leads to create opportunities and grow the sales pipeline

  • You will also have existing commercial experience gained in any industry in roles such as Customer Services, Inside Sales, Sales Development, Account Management, Tele sales or similar 
  • Ultimately you will be highly motivated to combine your scientific background and commercial experience to make money & advance scientific research!
  • It would be an advantage if you have experience working in a laboratory environment, using biological techniques such as PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, DNA/ RNA Extraction, ELISA, Cell Culture, Western Blotting, Immunology, Flow Cytometry, Proteomics or Cell and Molecular Biology
  • Good working knowledge of CRM systems and proficient in PC software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), able to run basic technical software presentations
