Senior Scientist – Preclinical Imaging

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

Location: Alderley Edge

The Requirements of Senior Scientist:

  • Right now, you will be working within the field of InVivo imaging
  • At least 1 years’ experience working with radioactivity in relation to Pre-clinical imaging, invivo imaging, ex vivo imaging and related
  • You must have a home office licence for InVivo/Vivo work
  • The Senior Scientist will be capable of stepping up to Lead Scientist level as and when required for cover
  • In-Depth knowledge of InVivo imaging such as PET imaging or MRI imaging
  • Demonstrated experience to deliver complex projects to deadlines under pressure
  • Have published papers in the field of Pre-clinical imaging

The Role of Senior Scientist:

  • Design of pre-clinical studies with external partner organisations
  • Delivery of pre-clinical imaging studies to meet agreed deliverables from the project plan
  • Develop capability across a range of pre-clinical imaging platforms
  • With informatics input as necessary, analysis of imaging data to provide quantitative biomarker imaging end-points
  • In-vivo model development and utilisation and working under HO project imaging licence
  • Implementation of effective lab processes, experimental records, and safety including compliance in working with open bench radioactivity
  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of current and emerging imaging technologies
  • Contribute scientific and high-quality data to complex collaborative projects
  • Effective communication and research collaboration skills, working with a wide range of colleagues in range of academic and commercial organisations

  • Now they are looking for a senior scientist with experience in using pre-clinical imaging techniques, to provide imaging data to translational projects
