Field Sales Representative – Chromatography Consumables and Services – South East England

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 (DOE) + £4,800 Bonus Paid Monthly + 8% Company Wide Profit Performance Bonus + End of year Sales Over Target Bonus, Paid in September (Typical total take-home bonus: £10,000 – £15,000 p.a.) + Car Allowance (with Fuel Card) + 8% non-contributory Pension + Private Healthcare (You and Family) + Death in Service (4x Basic Salary) + 24 Days Holiday (plus 8 days stats) + IPhone and Laptop

Based: London, UK

The Requirements:

  • As the Field Sales Representative you will ideally have previous Sales experience within Chromatography, HPLC/ GC, GC-MS and could be working in a role such as: Account Manager, Sales Representative, Internal Sales, Sales Executive, Sales Consultant, Business Development Manager or a Territory Manager – working within a target/KPI driven environment
  • You must have come from a Chemistry degree/related background such as: Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or Organic/In-Organic Chemistry and have a great knowledge of techniques such as: Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, LC, GC, HPLC and Analytical Chemistry within the Field Sales Representative role (previous hands on Laboratory experience would be ideal but not essential)
  • My client requires that the successful Sales Representative possess excellent communication and organisational skills, you must be a real relationship builder and have the ability to sell companies products in a Technical and Knowledgeable way
  • You must be living on patch within one of the following postcodes: NR, IP, CB, CO, CM, AL, HP, LU, MK, SS & SG
  • Hold a full UK driving licence

The Responsibilities:

  • Within the Field Sales Representative role, you will be maintaining existing business and grow sales and profit in-line with monthly targets for the territory (South East of England, ideally you will be living around the Stevenage or Cambridge area, through field sales activity, represent and promote the companies market leading products to include: Chromatography Consumables, HPLC, GC, GC-MS, SPE, IR, E-learning, Training and Analytical Services
  • Managing clients such as: Pharmaceutical, Forensic Toxicology, Water and Academia
  • Promoting the companies excellence in product delivery, service provision and technology transfer as well as co-ordinating activities with Internal Sales Partners and Technical Business Development Managers to exceed the target sales mix for key products and services
  • Reporting into to the Sales Manager you will be dealing with a range of customers mainly in the areas of: Research and Academia, the role will be roughly 50% business development and 50% existing account Management
