Costing Co-ordinator

Salary Circa: £20,000 – £25,000 DOE + Pension (5% company contribution) + Private Healthcare + Subsidised Gym Membership + Critical Illness/Group Income Protection Cover + 25 Days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays

Location: Aylesbury (office based)

The Requirements of Costing Co-ordinator:

  • You will have 1+ year’s experience in a similar role as either a: Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator, Costing Co-ordinator, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator or a directly related role (recent graduates who hold one of the below degrees or similar will also be considered for the role)
  • You will also be educated to university level in a finance or accounting based degree
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Able to work well independently as well as good team working skills
  • Self-driven, motivated, can cope well under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail

The Role of Costing Co-ordinator:

  • Receiving and evaluating pricing information from suppliers
  • Analysing cost changes and their impact on the business
  • Managing product and pricing data within our internal systems
  • Working with colleagues in the Supply Chain and Sales teams to decide on Costing strategy
  • Calculating final pricing to customers
  • Working with the Sales team to manage customer requirements and resolve any queries
  • •Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues to resolve any pricing issues
  • Learning about each role in the Operations team in order to understand the supply chain process including materials management (warehouse), sales order processing, purchase order processing etc
