Our client is a market-leading manufacturer and supplier of life science products to the cell and gene therapy market. The company is growing at a fast pace both organically and through acquisitions. Their European Headquarters are located in the DACH region. They now seek a French Regional Territory Manager to further grow the sales of their cell and gene therapy products in the country.

 

Cell & Gene Therapy French Territory Manager Objective

You’ll join a company with a powerful and positive purpose of enabling cutting-edge research products in Cell and Gene Therapy.  Our client’s best-in-class brands provide cutting-edge tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.

This is a great opportunity to develop the Cell & Gene Therapy business across France in defined Accounts, as well as developing Academic groups and start-up companies and Biotech’s in the country and other French-speaking regions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, develop and drive new/existing business opportunities in space.
  • Use a selection of channels in order to identify and qualify new business opportunities, including in-bound lead follow up, outbound cold calls, emails and social media.
  • Look to implement new and innovative strategies in order to identify new business, therefore enhancing sales revenue and profit.
  • Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams, lead generation and marketing within the Company.
  • Work with Cell & Gene Therapy Sales and Marketing team.
  • Build relationships and opportunities with Customers across France and the French Speaking countries.
  • Report on progress and opportunities to both Sales Manager & Team
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and competitors. Report findings and potential pipeline both monthly and quarterly to your manager
  • Represent the company at domestic and international Cell & Gene Therapy conferences.
  • Accurately report back into the team leader on the business
  • Travel in region for Customer visits required.
  • Beneficial to have experience with a CRM.
  • Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Possess excellent IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential.


Skills Required

  • Must be fluent in both French & English with the ability to conduct business in both languages.
  • Must have 5+ years sales success/ experience and a go to contact network in the Cell and Gene Therapy sector in France with C> customers.
  • A proven track record in France and French speaking region sales growth
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and multi-task efficiently.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines.
  • Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships cross functionally.
  • Flexible attitude to cover work as required.
