Territory: Central & South/South West London & Kent
Home location: You will be living inside the M25 and within 45 minutes of Central London
Base Salary is Negotiable (DOE) + £5,000 – £10,000 Uncapped Bonus + Company Car (Fully Expensed) + Laptop + iPhone + Ipad + Company Credit Card + 5% Pension Contribution + Health Care & Health Cash Plan + 20 Days Holiday (Rising to 25 with Service) + 8 Bank Holidays + 3 days Xmas Closure

The requirements of the Territory Manager:

  • As the Territory Manager, you will already have 1+ years’ experience as either an Internal Sales OR Field Based Territory Manager successfully selling Laboratory/Life Science PPE such as Gloves, Face Masks, Goggles & related Laboratory protective clothing/safety equipment
  • You will be educated to a minimum BSc degree level or equivalent in a Life Sciences/Biological subject such Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biology or Biomedical Science, Genetics, Microbiology, or Immunology – Chemistry degrees will also be considered
  • My client requires that the successful candidate possess excellent communication and organisational skills, you must be a real self-starter and show high levels of autonomy as the Account Manager for this high performing and competitive territory
  • Established and positive working relationships with customers in the Academia, Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical industries
  • A full UK driving license is required with the ability to travel outside of territory when required

The role of the Territory Manager:

  • As the Territory Manager you will be tasked with achieving annual sales targets and objectives across your territory primarily covering the following postcodes – BN, BR, CR, CT, DA, E, EC, HA, IG, ME, N, NW, RH, RM, SE, SS, TN, W and WC
  • Manage and grow an existing sales base and develop new customer relationships
  • Arrange appointments, follow-up on quotes, samples, and leads
  • Strategically identify and conduct key account analysis, create, and develop plans to maintain existing business and gather intelligence for new opportunities
  • Meet with customers to present and demonstrate my client’s products and lead generation, initiate, and communicate proposals relevant to customer needs and use negotiation skills to achieve a successful sale
  • Create and maintain records within the internal CRM system to assist with customer contact traceability, initiating proposals and customer specific information
  • To present and contribute to internal and external meetings
  • Prepare information as needed for customer meetings and discussions with management
  • Respond to customer enquiries promptly, liaising with internal support to assist where necessary
