Technical Sales Representative – Ireland

Base Salary Flexible DOE + Excellent Commission & Bonus Structure + Car Allowance of €5,000 per annum + Laptop + Mobile + Fully Expensed Travel + Pension + Share Options

Territory: Ireland

The Requirements of the Technical Sales Representative:

  • Educated to BSc/MSc Degree (or equivalent) in a Life Science or related field such as Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry or Chemistry
  • You will already be working as a Technical Sales Representative, Territory Manager, Account Manager, Field Sales Representative or similar ideally selling Microbiology/Food Safety/Food Testing equipment or consumables
  • This could include rapid diagnostic test kits for microbiology, pathogen or allergen testing
  • You could also have experience of selling more general laboratory equipment and/or consumables such as, Pipettes, Tissue culture plastics, PCR systems, ELISA kits, Centrifuges, Autoclaves etc
  • Must be able to display a proven ability to hunt and develop new business independently out in the field
  • Have a full valid driving licence and passport

The Role of the Technical Sales Representative:

  • Product area is heavily focused around Food Safety/Allergen testing
  • Main customers are to include food and beverage manufacturers, meat processing, dairy, poultry, wheat or bakery and third-party food-analysis facilities
  • Diverse range of customers coupled with a diverse range of products split into 3 categories: Microbiology, Allergens and Hygiene
  • This territory has amazing potential to be one of the top performing areas across the UK & Ireland – It needs a true hunter salesperson to come and grow the revenue across Ireland
  • You will work out in the field 3/4 days per week and work from a home office the remaining days normally planning your travel a week in advance
