Service Sales Representative

Salary Circa: £24,000 – £27,000 DOE + Bonus + Pension + Private Healthcare + Life Insurance + 25 days holidays + 8 bank holidays + Much more!

Location: Office based in the Northwich area

Working from home: There is a flexibility to work from home occasionally. This role requires ability to travel across EMEA countries.

The requirements of the Service Sales Representative:

  • To be considered for the role of Service Sales Representative you must already have 1+ year’s contract sales experience (e.g. spares, service contracts, trainings, upgrades, and others preferably in Customer Service environment
  • Ideally you will have experience working in the Life Science, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Medical Devices or Chemicals sector
  • This is not a requirement however and other technical industries will be considered such as Automotive, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or very similar
  • Minimum GCSEs or equivalent to include passes in Maths and English
  • Excellent proactive selling skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
  • Computer skills – MS Office, Salesforce and SAP
  • You must be able to travel on an international basis (25 – 30%) as part of the role and hold a valid passport
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to react well under pressure and treats others with respect
  • Work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a team to ensure exceeding service centre’s standards

The role of the Service Sales Representative:

Scope of the role:

Taking a proactive approach, you will be responsible for generating and driving sales opportunities for spares, service contracts, trainings, nuclear disposals, depot repairs and other service offerings, with the necessary follow-up, admin and record keeping activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Service Sales Representative you will achieve assigned sales and revenue target goals through outbound calls and emails to customers
  • Proactively drive sales of various service offerings (e.g. spares, service contracts, trainings, upgrades, and others) and provides quotations accordingly
  • Find and closes new opportunities for service contracts, spare parts and other billable services from new and existing customers
  • Follow up on outstanding leads, quotations and other opportunities and where necessary attends customer visits
  • Implement and manage all service contract initiatives
  • Maintain service contract revenue base at highest possible retention rate and protects service contract revenue stream
  • Prepare and maintain sales and service records and files
  • Provide accurate service sales forecast
  • Ensure timely service contract renewal and promote awareness of my client’s service offerings, upgrade and add-on opportunities to customers
  • Proactively identify new approaches for Service packages and work with other teams as appropriate to maximise offerings
  • Ensure competitiveness of company’s preventative maintenance contracts
  • Provide customer service support
  • Ensure actions are compliant with the Company Authorisation Approval Matrix at all times
  • Provide regular metrics to the various parties as required
  • Ability to work under pressure while retaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Assist and support scheduling activities when needed
