Cell Bank Leader

Salary: Negotiable DOE + Healthcare + Pension + Holidays and other excellent benefits

Location: Cambridge


The Requirements:

  • You would ideally hold a PhD in life sciences related subject with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a stem cell/cell line platform leader (i.e. Director of Stem Cells/ Stem Cell Research, Head of iPSC’s (induced pluripotent stem cells), iPSC Banking Director, Head of Human Cell Banking, Director of stem cell biology or a closely related title in a relevant industry or scientific organisation/institution with specific experience in Cell Banking (experience in putting processes in place/ experience building a fully automated laboratory
  • Currently you could be working for ATCC, EBiSC, The European Collection of Authenticated Cell Cultures (ECACC), The Sanger Institute or similar organisation
  • Have experience in growing and leading a high-performing team of scientists, you will be process oriented and experienced in developing, optimising & implementing workflows, protocols, procedures and resources, with knowledge and experience in working in a quality management/ QC environment
