Production and Quality Co-ordinator

Salary: Wide Open DOE + Pension (7%) + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Childcare Voucher

Location: Doncaster

The Requirements of the Production and Quality Co-ordinator:

  • Educated to minimum A-Level, or equivalent demonstrable experience on a scientific field
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation within the workplace
  • Legislative and industry awareness and knowledge
  • Understanding of audit requirements in relation to quality
  • Experience of working within quality/technical information
  • Experience of working within a FMCG or other manufacturing organisation
  • Be able to engage with stakeholders at all levels of understanding and interest and be able to build strong working relationships
  • Office based with frequent periods spent in Factory environment

The Responsibilities of the Production and Quality Co-ordinator:

  • To co-ordinate the support activities relating to production and quality requirements in pursuit of high levels of customer service, quality and factory efficiency
  • To carry out the role whilst ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Ensuring that high levels of productivity, attendance and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times
  • Maintaining the day to day Production & Quality records, including stock counts, training records and mandatory health surveillance records
  • Providing support to the Quality department as required
  • Assisting with Quality audits
  • Providing high standards of quality whilst promoting, building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
  • Identifying training needs relevant to the job and participating in any training and development as required
