Commercial Team Administrator

Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience) + Pension + Healthcare + 26 Days Holiday (excluding statutory days)

Based: Oxford, UK

The Requirements:

  • You will ideally have 1+ Years of experience within a: Sales, Customer Services, Technical Support, Marketing, Receptionist, Retail or any customer focused environment would be beneficial
  • You will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, such as Biology, Molecular Biology (Ideally) Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biological Science or Forensic Science or a related subject, if you don’t have a Scientific degree you wont be discounted but must have equivalent experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ideally you will have worked with a CRM/ Database before
  • With the role being based in Oxford you must be within a commutable distance to the area or open to relocation to this area
  • You will be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative, with an empathetic and objective approach to customers and market needs and the ability to offer solutions to customers problems
  • Possess a current valid driving licence

The Responsibilities:

  • This office-based position will support the Sales and Marketing Teams by performing various administrative duties including CRM management, digital marketing support, tender application support, international events coordination and general commercial team support
  • Co-ordinate and oversee the company’s presence at regional, national and international events
  • Manage marketing material stock, such as printed literature and branded merchandise
  • Liaise with, and co-ordinate projects involving external suppliers including printers and designers
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the website via the content management system (CMS)
  • Maintain the company’s CRM system including data entry, report generation and basic customisation
  • Manage price lists for business customers, updating as required and informing customers about new products
  • Oversee and update company and product information on external purchasing systems
  • Support the sales team in the tender application process and generation of sales leads
  • Produce reports, spreadsheets, documents and presentations
  • Manage the company’s general email account
  • Respond to general email and telephone enquiries, forwarding to other teams as appropriate
  • Provide accurate processing of quotes and sample requests to customers as needed
  • Assist the sales and marketing teams with any further support as and when required
