Microbiology Quality Control Project Officer

9 Month Contract

Salary: Up to £25,000 (DOE) + 23 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Long Service Reward + Company Shop + Option to Buy Additional Holidays + Early Finish Fridays

Office Based: West Yorkshire

The Requirements:

• To be successful in the position as Microbiology Quality Project Officer you must have a good knowledge of biolumix systems and methods preferential

• Knowing other departments connected with work and the important contacts there

• Experience of SAP preferential as well as experience and knowledge of GMP and BRC is essential

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Microbiology is preferential

• Demonstrate the ability to multitask on a daily basis

• Works efficiently and manages time effectively

• Must be able to handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure

• To be an effective communicator at all levels, inside and outside of the business

• Knowledge in validation of harmonized methods, cleaning validation

The Role of Microbiology Assistant:

• Providing support to Micro Manager in order to Monitor and maintain hygiene standards within the factory and laboratory, ensuring at all times that any issues are communicated, to the Quality Manager, at the earliest opportunity thus minimising the risk of breaching customer standards and UK Health and Safety Law

• Managing micro Inspection and verification of incoming materials, in-process and finished samples in line with established sampling plans

• Managing the quarantine of Non-Conforming materials, micro issues

• Providing support to Investigate, where necessary, Out of specification results and provide input into appropriate corrective actions

• Cleaning validations for Production Filling Lines (General cleaning, deep cleaning & de-scaling cleaning)

• Cleaning validations for Manufacturing

• Vessels manual cleaning

• Cleaning validations for Manufacturing

• Vessels CIP cleaning
