Key Account Executive – Microscopy and Instrumentation – London

Location: London, UK (inside M25 corridor)

The requirements of the Key Account Executive:
• To be succesful in the role you must hold a Life Science or related degree such as: Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular, Cellular or any Biolological area – a PhD would be ideal however not essential

• You must be based living within the M25 motorway

• A strong understanding of the Capital Equipment/ Microscopy industry would be ideal but not essential

• Ideally you would have some office/administration, sales, retail, shop assistant or customers services experience

The role of the Key Account Executive:
• Assist with achievement of territory sales target by developing and managing relationships with customers, ensuring they receive outstanding customer service
• Working with the Key Account Manager to delive net sales budgets and targets, ensuring all appropriate actions are taken in order to maximise sales performance
• Creation, delivery and execution territory and customer sales strategies, frequently reviewing and updating action plans

• Build, develop and maintain long-term relationships with customer base, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions to customers’ needs
• Ensure that all customer issues are resolved promptly through effective, timely internal communication
• Pro-actively plan, lead & drive sales business projects as required, working cross-functionally to deliver successful outcomes
• Produce quotations for customers as and when required for all non-advanced imaging systems

• Attend tender response meetings held for customers within territory and provide information for tender response documents as and when required
• Provide input into overall sales strategy and planning
• Support for ad-hoc tasks & projects as required
• Create and maintain sales opportunity information within the CRM system
• Update CRM opportunities on an on-going basis with latest status, next steps required, expected end date and probability rating
• Assist with the organisation of product demonstrations, booking demonstration kit and co-ordinating resources as and when required
