    Based: Office Based in Reading, Berkshire

    The Requirements of the Inside Sales Representative:

    • To be successful in the Inside Sales Representative role you will be educated to degree level in a biological or analytical science based subject e.g. Molecular Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or equivalent degree

    • Fluent in both English & German with the ability to convey technical scientific information to customers in both languages to a high level & conduct sales conversations as well

    • Demonstrable experience of working within a technical sales environment with a strong commercial focus e.g. Telesales, Customer Services, Lead Generation, Marketing, Direct Sales, Technical Support or other related commercial experience in a B2B/B2C environment

    • It would be beneficial however not essential to have experience selling Life Sciences products or other related complex products in a telesales or direct sales role

    • Experience of using own initiative and working in a target driven environment

    • Experience of working with Sales Force or a related CRM system

    • Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s)

    • Possess excellent IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential

    • Ability to build strong relationships cross functionally


    The Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative:

    • Within the Inside Sales Representative role you will be working directly with the European Sales director you will be responsible for selling and generating leads, by introducing customers to the features and benefits of the products and services available in an informative and attractive way

    • Developing customer awareness, knowledge and interest in the clients products and services, providing assistance and developing opportunities to increase sales

    • Establish customer’s needs and preferences offering appropriate service to ensure customer retention and acquisition of business

    • Carry-out established processes and procedures to ensure that lead documentation is dealt with accurately and in accordance with the clients requirements

    • Takes responsibility for own personal development and knowing about the market and competition.

    • You will have the opportunity to carry out occasional travel to visit customers & also represent the company at domestic and international conferences to further drive the brands success & awareness
