Sales Representative – Flow Cytometry

Salary: Competitive Salary + 30% Bonus + Car + Pension + Private Healthcare + Smartphone + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Territory: North UK
Home Based: Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow etc.

The Requirements of Sales Representative:

• As the Sales Representative you must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Flow Cytometry applications in Immunology, Haematology, Immuno-Assays, Clinical Chemistry or Transfusion Medicine

• Right now you could be working as an Account Manager, Sales Specialist, Territory Manager or an Area Sales Manager right now selling Flow Cytometers or other Life Science related instruments into the research market


• You could be working in a research environment as a Post-Doc, Researcher, Core Facility Manager etc. Using Flow Cytometry right now with a true desire to enter the world of sales along with the drive and tenacity required to succeed in such a role

• Within the Sales Representative role you must be comfortable working from a home based office

• You must hold a Life Sciences degree in either: Biomedical Science, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Human Sciences, Biochemistry or a similar field

• This company have a very fast paced and hard working culture so you must be able to operate in this kind of environment to really flourish in this company and also the Flow Cytometry Sales Representative role, you will be highly self motivated and a good team player

• Must hold a full clean UK Driving Licence

The Role Sales Representative:

• As the Sales Representative for Flow Cytometry you will be selling the full range of Hardware and Reagents into the Research and Academia market

• You will be selling into research facilities within industries such as: Biotech, Pharma, Water Treatment, Brewery etc.

• Within the role another key aspect will be new business generation, this will involve demonstrating products to the Lab Technicians and the Lab Managers as well as negotiating with Procurement, Heads of Departments and Directors/ Managers

• Managing all the current existing accounts, leading sales project teams as well as writing up your own quotes and managing tenders

• You will be required to present technically on the products, showcasing them at Flow Cytometry related trade shows and conferences

• Being field-based you will be given a lot of independence, and will be expected to self manage your own diary in order to achieve and exceed your targets
