The Requirements of the Export Sales Specialist


  • To be successful in the Inside Sales Representative role you will be educated to degree level in a biological or ideally analytical science based subject e.g. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Biomedical Science or equivalent degree
  • Be within a commutable distance to the offices which are based in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire


  • Demonstrable experience of working within a technical sales environment with a strong commercial focus e.g. Telesales, Customer Services, Lead Generation, Marketing, Direct Sales, Technical Support or other related commercial experience in a B2B/B2C environment
  • Experience of using own initiative and working in a target driven environment
  • Experience of working with Sales Force or a related CRM system
  • Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Possess excellent IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential

The Responsibilities of Export Sales Specialist:

  • As the Export Sales Specialist you will be responsible for promoting the Company’s well-established portfolio of chromatography consumables, instruments, liquid management and services to key academic as well as research institutes, clinical, biotechnology and pharmaceutical accounts across Northern Europe to include: Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland & Iceland
  • Reach sales and margin targets for the assigned Northern Europe territory
  • Ensuring that all chromatography and LM clients are actively informed of the full range of products and services throughout the territory
  • Provide technical product solutions to existing and new clients
  • Use the Company’s business tools to help drive territory sales and margin, including the customer database, business analysis and sales process tools
  • Grow existing client spend and look to introduce new clients
